Systems Administrator

Purpose of the System Administrator is to support the IT infrastructure including server hardware, desktop hardware, operating systems, applications, networking, telephony and security.

  • Educated to GCSE Level including Maths and English.
  • Preferable degree educated in a related computing, business scientific, mathematical or statistical field.

Experience required:   3 years’ experience preferred  Experience of administering Microsoft Server and desktop operating systems including concepts such as Active Directory and Group Policy.      ·        
Specialist training:   Knowledge of networking principles including TCP/IP, Ethernet, routing, switches, firewalls and telephone switches. Salary up to £28k for right candidate
